My parents came up to visit on New Year's Day. I was supposed to go to my parents' place for a few days. I was going to wait until tomorrow to tell you all about my drunk escapade Saturday night. I haven't posted about the trip. I have a dermatologist's appointment in about an hour. Most of my recent posts have been dull geek stuff with no appeal to most of you. Every Nibloin grows up with a romantic version of the civil war that created their nation. My last cup of coffee was on Saturday morning. I got half off the cost of a Worldcon membership. The baked ziti was a smash success! So, uhhh... I went to National Tire & Battery. I really like having an iPod.

I started culling this from December's entries and went backward. It's odd to reread the year. It's especially strange to reread what I'd written in August about sending Maggie home. I'd completely blocked that trigger moment for sending Maggie home was that she was contemplating suicide so often that I couldn't bear to hear it anymore. I twitch just realizing how much I've blocked about this.

I don't do most of these meme stunts. This is the second in as many months. It feels like I'm digging the last scabs off a wound.
