They put a friend of mine next to me. You'd think it was a late birthday present. We get to talk about business between calls. It's good.
I forgot to call my grammy again. She's out of hospital and felling a lot better. She had broken her hip. This would be my mom's mom, Fran. I haven't seen my dad's mom in several years and, due to bureaucracy on my father's side of the family, I may never see again. Then again, her Alzheimer's is so bad that she no longer knows my dad got married.
Time to go to bed or I'll start to cry.
