I should have cable modem service as of Sunday evening. AT&Love is running a special install day because of the new season of the Sopranos and really because all the college kids have stolen the good appointments in Somerville.

fangirl715 's iMac and her dial-up connection. I have two modems I could be using, but neither will install into either of my computers, thus leaving me out of my mind!
I'm a geek. Lack of broadband, esp ecially when I spend all day seling the stuff, is Purgatory.
Life in Somerville is otherwise a wonderful thing. I'll have plenty of stories when I have regular ways to type them. For now, I wish to give my condolences totafkar, as I just fo u nd out three minutes ago about her loss.
Oh, and Maggie is fine, too. We need a bigger bed. Two Rubensesque people on a full-size leads to one or the other sleeping on a futon every other evening. Hey, humans gotta stretch. How did humans ever sleep be fo re mattresses? We seem like the least practical animals in the world. We can't even eat without technology.
