Wicked fast before I go to bed

pseydtonneI have now been working at what I'll just call AT&Love for three days. It's surprisingly relaxed for a salescritter phone jock job. I'd go on, but it's not that interesting. Everyone in my training class is a native Bostonian. Thick, pungent accents are the rule. We only take calls from Mass and New Hampshire; bummer.
I feel confident that I can kick ass at this. I feel the likelihood that, even if no other job prospects on my A list pan out for a while, I won't get frustrated. I like that they not only expect you to get bored with the job and wish to rise but they will track you, laterally or upward.
We sell cable. This means net wonks are needed. I'd be keen to move that way.
My friend Mark and his girlfriend, Charlotte, have been visiting. It's been fabulous, although their sudden departure tonight instead of tomorrow does give me the perk of sleeping in my own bed.
