pseydtonne | Intro to the holiday season

I was going to post this long thing about my attempts to turn my computer into a Tivo. Long story short: I can't seem to record the sound, even though it ties up my sound card when the software is recording. I'm using MythTV, it's very bloated and it takes a hella long time to set up.

Instead, I'm going to mention that it's now the holiday season. We all know this, but the most important holiday of all is yesterday, my dad's birthday. Some of you may say, "but, that's World AIDS Day." Yes, but my dad's birthday has a larger effect on people with speeding tickets in upstate New York. Others of you may say "but that's Allen Konigsberg's birthday," and you'd be right.

Woody Allen. Hey, he may have shit for morals, but he still made some of the greatest comedy ever.

I slept poorly. They started hammering on the wall just outside our bedroom around 8:30. We get up at 10:30, so you do the math. Maggie had a harder time than usual getting to sleep, so I suspect she's going to need some good hugs to wake up.
