Sep. 24th, 2003 02:03 amI need to interrupt this lack of postings to warn all of you: The Moonies are running the White House. Tell me that doesn't explain everything.
Don't believe me? Click here and suffer the ads for the free pass into Salon. I'm terrified of Reverend Moon, the same way I am of the Scientologists. Cults scare me a lot.
This doesn't mean W is a Moonie. No, that would be too easy. He's just given the bastard whatever he wants via the Faith-Based Initiative.
As a bleedin' heathen atheist agnostic, I'd like to see the world stay safe for the normal religions. Yes, I'll even include the Baptists under that. So long as there isn't a special marriage consummation hanky, then I'm fine with the religion.
This also explains why the Bush administration wants a holy war -- they mean to plow for evil.
If you missed the Seventies or are not otherwise familiar with the Reverend Moon Pie, he thinks Christ didn't go far enough because he didn't seize political power. Remember that "render unto Caesar..." bit? I guess he doesn't. Anyway, he brainwashes folks and ran a mass marriage in Madison Square Garden back in '82.
Meanwhile,
I only spent $19 at the MIT Flea this Sunday. The most expensive item was ten bucks. My cousin knew the guy selling it. They were talking while I flipped through his box of motherboards (mostly socket 7 MMX boards). One board struck me immediately because it had two socket-370 slots. It didn't have either CPU, but I grabbed it anyway.
When I got home, I looked it up. It's an ABit BP6. It's an older board -- it can run two Celerons up to 533 MHz in parallel. It's also an overclocker's dream -- a 66-MHz bus that scales to 125 MHz. This boards seems to have invented overclocking -- there's a web site (bp6.com) dedicated to it.
So I can hardly wait to turn this filly out. It's going to be a blast! Dual-processor Gentoo, here I come!
So, stop Moon and watch out for the right wingers. And the Washington Times is his bitch, too.
-scared out of my hoonglies, Ps/d
