Is my eyeglass prescriptiion wrong?
Jul. 19th, 2010 11:45 amI picked up my new glasses on Thursday, but I haven't been at work (where I get my worst vision problems) until now. Everything looks surprisingly fuddup.
Is the world supposed to look as if I'm sitting in a fish bowl? Every long vertical line looks like it's trying to merge -- too many trapezoids. Text looks good on the screen, but I have to refocus just to look at the keyboard.
It feels weird. I think the woman behind the lens machine was breaking my babalones. She went so fast that i couldn't give her good answers, and slowing her down was a failure.
I'll give this a couple more hours, then I'm calling the eye doctor to schedule another sitting. This time I don't want to have the drops in when I get this done. The world looks broken -- and it twists when I tilt my head.
