Car is still in the shop

pseydtonneI'm going to walk to Lexington center and have a nice dinner. It's about a mile's walk.
Being stranded in the suburbs without one's 3000-pound wheelchair is a pisser. I get paranoid sitting in the house. I've caught up on sleep and read half a biography about William Shockley. I have almost no desire to do the geek things sitting on my desk because I feel like I'm trapped. So I'm going for a walk and a dinner to solve this.
My folks are coming to visit Friday. They're attending an Italian festival in Lawrence and expect me to come get them. This had better be an option.

Update: I found a voice message as I left the house. The car is ready. I'll pick it up tomorrow. By the way, the walk was refreshing.
