I started reading MegaTokyo while I was deep in the grippe. (Yes, that's what the old timers call influenza.) I had waited on ever looking at Mt because I knew it would require starting from scratch and covering a long stretch. It's hosted on an overloaded server so it's taking me a long time to read. It starts in August of 2000 and I'm only up to January 2002. I've had to use my old dialup trick of triggering the next page to load before I'd finished reading or I'd never be able to stand the wait for the next page.

I love the comic, as I feared I would. I knew I'd be caught in its thrall. However, I had assumed it would be more somber. Instead, it truly is this silly romp with serious strains. It's good storyline. It's catchy.

Then I came to an installment explaining some delays. This is getting printed up big and going on my office wall! Brilliant stuff!

I had a fun time hanging out with [livejournal.com profile] kestrell yesterday. She's someone I can listen to as well as tell things. I dig that.

I'm running out of mucus. I look forward to being functional again. I suppose I am already.
