Psyche refresh

I'm in a rut. I am having a hard time getting out of it. I keep going through cycles of want followed by self-doubt and lack of interest. Of all the projects I've taken on recently, I've only finished one (digitizing my vinyl) and even that one hasn't led to a burned CD yet. I'm not quite moving on the way I'd hoped I would. I find myself very self-conscious, which drives me nuts.

I could use a vacation -- a week off somewhere else. However, I'd have to wait until next Friday at the least. The 15th isn't far away at all, but it feels like it. Also, I need to put a large portion of my next pay check into car maintenance, as my tires are almost bald and the serpentine belt looks like the textbook version of when one should be replaced.

Instead of whining, I'd like to send out an invite. I'd like to invite folks over for a lounging -- watch movies, check out the improvements on the stereo, help me alleviate the liquor situation in my fridge. I'm thinking Saturday late afternoon (5-ish). Anyone interested?
