I want to thank everyone that wrote, called, hung out or drank with me this weekend. You made this one of the best birthdays I've ever had.

Maggie's still sick. I've never seen an infection so resistant to antibiotics. Her Eustachian tubes are thoroughly blocked.

I'd go on, but I have some errands to run today.

Maggie is now tearing my underwear apart. "Cuz it's worn out," she says. However, I'm still wearing it.

Her Eustachian tubes are thoroughly blocked.

You can tell the kind of shit that I've been worried about lately, because for an instant there I confused "Eustachian" for "fallopian" and got very concerned for her health.

Our timing absolutely sucks. You're coming down here this weekend, and guess where I'm going to be: Boston!

as far as i know, my fallopian tubes are perfectly fine. the rest of my body is a bit wonky, but the fallopians are fine. :)

and please tell your lovely wife that i appreciated and giggled at her happy un-birthday message to me.

Does that girl take vitamins? She is sick so often! It concerns me!

Take 500mg of Vitamin C every day for a month and see how much better you feel. Linux Pauling agrees.

what's sad is that i have been taking my vitamins faithfully for about two years now. granted, my diet is crap, and pills are no substitute for natural vitamins.

my aunt, who also gets sick as often as i do, went to an allergist recently. turns out she's allergic to almost everything in the world, also quite possibly like me. he told her that when one is allergic to almost everything in the world, that the immune system is (understandably) going insane and leaves the body open to diseases that otherwise would be not a bother. i hope that made sense.

now that i've got real health insurance, i'm going to get myself to an allergist and hope that once i start on a medication that actually works (claritin did nothing for me), that my immune system will be somewhat normal. /ramble

so uh.... yeah. i'll take the extra C. i've got a giant bottle of it sitting somewhere.

Yes, it made perfect sense. And yeah, extra C is no substitute for asking a doc about it all. Take advantage of your health insurance and go see someone. Good luck and *hug*.
