Lovely fogs last night
Sep. 27th, 2003 01:10 pmI got out of work around 8:45 last night and started driving to
metahacker's house. As I came to the lower deck of Interstate 93, I saw that a massive, fluffy fog had infiltrated the city. Everything had a glow, yet the fog was not bad enough to mess with traffic. Also, there were so few people on the lower deck that I had to slow down for the curves instead of the cars. (For those of you outside Boston: this is the number one traffic jam in the area, so having no traffic is a shock.)
After watching Donnie Darko, which if you haven't seen is a brilliant an weird movie, I drove home through more thick fog. The most delicious part was the giant cloud molesting Cambridge Reservoir in Waltham. You could almost hear it saying "step off, we're having a private moment". It's all that water getting confused about its matter-state orientation.
You'll have to excuse me. All the mom & pop geek stores close early on Saturday, so I'd better get going.
