To everyone that my Gmail account just spammed

I have no idea what just happened, and I honestly don't have time to gather the list of emailed people and ping all of you. I am neck-deep in work. To be specific: I as a human sent no one an empty PDF. I fear some list of mine got copied and sent some potentially malicious PDF to everyone. I wasn't even logged into my Gmail session when it happened. Please accept my apology for now. I will have to investigate later. -Dante

Norton's not finding anything. Either the malware is so new it can't detect it, or the damage is so minimal it doesn't matter.

A little voice in my head was saying, "Maybe you shouldn't click." I should listen to that voice more often.

For years I've been using Foxit Reader, a much leaner and faster PDF reader. It has a safe mode and I am glad to leave it on. Oh, and if I tell it that I always want files to open two pages per screen at 90% scale, it does. Turn off the tiny ad and life is good.
