Jet lag in the same time zone
Jun. 3rd, 2008 03:55 amDo y'all remember when I had the jet lag from my trip to Australia? I'd write posts at six in the morning because I'd already been awake for an hour, on and on.
Guess what? I have jet lag again. This time it's partly from the first hit of caffeine in a couple months (man, I was talking a mile a minute last night and had to put myself to sleep). The main part is that I was awake during the day and am trying to be on day time while I'm on vacation.
I usually go to bed around noon on work days. Think of my world as rot-12: a.m. and p.m. are flipped. Now I want to flip back for a while so that I can enjoy humanity and socialize. Oh man, it's gonna be weird.
I'll probably need melatonin to sleep tomorrow night. Today I'm just going to write this down and attempt to sleep for a couple more hours -- it's too late to dose on melatonin and be functional in the daylight.
