What is it about techno that helps me clear my head?

There is something about a sequencer beat, variable tones and random vocal samples that helps me lose my ego. Trance, downtempo, drum & bass and Goa are powerful genres of music.

I'd go on, but I've got Philosomatika on and it's working as described. Does anyone else have such experiences? Do tell.
