I can recover some things...

Fast version of events:

1. I got a tetanus shot while I was at the hospital the other day. I should've mentioned I was still getting over a cold, because 24 hours later I came down with a fever. I hallucinated effectively, woke up to watch TV, ate, and then slept again. The fever broke. I still feel weak, and my arm is still sore from the intramuscular shot. If that's how Super K gets injected, I'm not interested.
2. I was able to fix enough of my Linux side to gt my files back. However, XWindows is totally missing. Gone. I can't even find the main directory for it (/usr/X11R6) anymore. /usr/bin/X11 is a broken link now. Thus, I have to learn how to burn a CD without X so I can back up my files. I'll probably just copy my files to another hard drive.
3. I still have no clue how to fix the computer I'm supposed to fix tomorrow. XP Home chunks.
4. My parents are coming to visit on Friday. Actually, they're going to an Italian festival in Lawrence. Eek, right? Frankie Valli will be performing. Since he no longer has a falsetto, he'd better have a killer stage presence.

Okay, that's good enough. Any input would be appreciated.
