I just saw Another Heaven on Sundance. Really damn good flick! It started slowly, with that film bleu that's been popular in Hong Kong (even though this is a Japanese movie).
Then it gets going. Every time the action slows down, it's deliberate -- to get you wondering who's being fooled. It keeps you interested.
Frankly, it's an old-school crime story for people that have seen all the old crime tales and want a fresh attack. Dude, you so get it.
Okay, enough advertising. Time for bed.
