Why I'm Doooooooooooomed.

I walk into the room and sit down on the futon. I pick up a book and scan the radio for some tunes. Nothing hits me. So I turn on channel 540, "Sounds of the Season". This is a digital music channel from the cable box that, when it isn't playing obnoxious holiday tunes, is playing trip-hop, post-mo lounge and whatever else the name is for mainly instrumental chill music with good beats and an intellectual level of production. Neo-Lounge? Come-down? "I need background music that doesn't suck"? Massive Attack and its fans.

It's been about three days I've been playing this stuff almost non-stop. I'm no longer certain this is a healthy thing. You'll soon see why. ( Once you've clicked here... )
