I shouldn't let my posts turn into Capitalist's Corner, but consumer society happens.

I have a lot of old computer parts. I like them. I'd like to shove new parts in an old box, but I'd need to cut up this AT box so that ATX ports will fit. Thus, I'm told the Dremel is the way to go. It cuts, it routs, it feeds one's Red Green tendencies.

My coworker Dave says to get the flex shaft and that the corded ones are better than cordless. Any other (or conflicting) advice? I'm looking in the [livejournal.com profile] hakamadare direction, hint hint. Help?

I want to thank [livejournal.com profile] hakamadare for his comments. Dude, you rawk as always!

[livejournal.com profile] chaggalagirl caught the horrible stomach thing my mom gave me. She is having an even worse round of it than I did. So everybody keep her in your thoughts on the healing side of whichever deal you're into.

By the way, if you get this stomach thing, here are some useful tricks:
  1. Don't eat anything, and don't drink anything other than water. Almost all water will leave you, but everything else will get hurled (including orange juice);
  2. Don't bother taking your pills for the night -- they won't stay in your stomach long enough to dissolve;
  3. Bucket: get one;
  4. Do not raise or lower your head quickly;
  5. Don't look at the color of anything you produce -- that will only scare you;
  6. When you can sleep longer than half an hour, you're getting better;
  7. It's only a 24-hour virus;
  8. Before trying to eat anything, get some Gatorade becuase you will be very dehydrated.
