I was almost ready to go to work today. I woke up, I walked into the bathroom and started brushing my teeth. Suddenly my stomach started to wrench as if I were nauseated, but it wasn't that. It was when I tried to stand up again that I realized I was immensely dizzy. I hauled myself back to bed.

I felt better immediately upon stretching out supine. Then the blood vessels in my ears started to constrict, giving me the same feeling of deafness I get after a really good orgasm. Instead this left me thinking my equilibrium had been messed up but that it would readjust soon. It did. I still called in and went back to sleep.

I just ate my first meal in a couple days. It wasn't all that good but it was food and I cooked it properly. I am clearing up nicely and I suspect I'll be good to go tomorrow.

Is it possible you're a tad dehydrated? That can cause or aggravate dizziness a lot (says one who found this out the hard way, the day after giving blood and not rehydrating sufficiently).

Hope you're feeling much better soon, OK?

Indeed, there has to be some dehydration. All that mucus had to be made from something. I've been drinking as much water as I can tolerate.

I've also been hibernating.
