Still haven't solved the Dreamscape email problem. I think they locked me again in some inventive way. Bah. Grrrr!

My tax refund and paycheck have just hit my bank account at the same time. Great!

However, I think I found a way to spend it. I had a car accident this evening.

I ripped a woman's fender and scratched it. However, her rear bumper is fiberglass like mine. This means she'll have to get it replaced. Oh, and my deductible is largish.

I have more damage than she does -- extra rip in my front fender, shattered signal light cover.

She got out of the car with a neck brace already on. Up went my anxiety. "License and registration" she said. Is this a gig she knows well? She was perfunctory. I was depressed after that. I went home and called my folks while I whipped up dinner. I felt a lot better after I ate. It's just money -- no one is hurt and I can prove that.

Why am I back in a good mood? Dunno. Maybe cuz it's Friday already. Money is in the bank, even if I'll lose some of it. This week has been strange but livable. Of course, for all I know a busload of nuns holding puppies went off a bridge down a canyon because I couldn't read email for two days.

Good god man, what happens if you stop reading email for 3 days??! Will it cause a mudslide in Costa Rica that buries a free hospital staffed by good-hearted college kids on Spring Break? You better not miss any more days of email.

License and registration? Isn't that what cops ask you for just after tapping on your window with their giant mag-lites? Sorry dear; hope the bill is do-able and glad to hear no one got hurt.

Glad you're OK. That's all that matters to me.

Well, that sucks. At least it's minor and money-solvable. :/

It was a busload of nuns holding cute cuddly fuzzy puppies with missing legsdriving from the leper colony to the Orphan's Home for Unfortunately Evented Orphans and the bus caught on fire from the terminal velocity friction on the way down when it bounced and landed on the people arguing outside Man-Rays.

What a way to go...
