Shelves and their contents
Sep. 8th, 2003 03:04 amI got up this morning, cooked breakfast, showered, and had coffee. Today was the day to tackle my computer and its need for fixin'. Of course, I wound up cleaning the apartment instead.
Do any of you think the way I do and thus wind up doing what you're supposed to do but only as a side-effect? Here's an example:
I definitely used my first real weekend for good instead of evil. I will soon be able to get creative because I've got the whole apartment contoured to my needs. Then what?

Do any of you think the way I do and thus wind up doing what you're supposed to do but only as a side-effect? Here's an example:
- The dinner table has been a mess for weeks because I dumped stuff on it while unpacking.
- I can't find a notebook I need for the specs to a hard drive.
- Unpack a box and four bags, toss lots of stuff that should've been tossed two moves ago, and shove lots of stuff into the box.
- Still can't find notebook. Swiff the floor.
- Find notebook in bag next to bed.
- Start transcribing notes to avoid acting on the notes.
- Cook dinner.
- Listen to Car Talk and the Motley Fool Radio Show.
- Watch this show about how the builders of the Twin Towers figured out how it fell down.
- Hug a munkee a lot.
- My aunt called from Baltimore asking about cel phone options.
- Eventually do some computer stuff around 2 am.
