chaggalagirl and I are heading out tomorrow night. We're off to that mecca of dearth and pain, Utica! Oh yeah! Grill my babalones and call 'em tofu.

The good part: I get to see my parents. I also get to give my mom this Mac laptop I'd been reworking. It's kinda old, but it runs a newish enough OS (9.1) and it has a CD-ROM drive and an ethernet card. If it had a floppy drive, it'd be even better...

My mom says the TV I left them (my 20" Panasonic) is dying. She wants me to go with her to shop for a newer TV. She also has this notion that $300 is too much to spend on a television. I won't mention HD or plasma if she'll stop saying Emerson.
