Could anyone recommend a dentist in Boston? I'd prefer around Brookline or Newton but Camberville is also fine.

I have a lower right molar that just switched in the last couple days from "occasionally sensitive" to "gee, I can't eat on this tooth". It's not a screaming pain and I don't want it to get there.

I assume it's just an occlusion.

I'm a big fan of Sara Stock and Associates. They're right on 1425 Beacon Street, next to that new ballet school. 617-731-3364.

Tell 'em I sent you. :-)

For many many years we've used Dr. Burnes, on 209 Harvard st, just outside of Coolidge Corner. Definitely recommended. Good luck!

Thanks! Do you think that ballet school is going to survive? That's a large window front for a business that may only draw... pervs?

I use West Somerville Dental near Davis, and haven't had trouble getting an appointment with them. Have been going there for a couple of years, have been very happy. :)

I'm not sure. Personally, I hope they tank. Right up the block a ways is the Jean Paige School of Dance, a ballet school that's been in the neighborhood for decades. My sister took ballet there from Nursery School all the way through high school. The owners of the new place sent their daughters there, then opened the new place right after they graduated.

It stinks.

This is probably not in a very helpful location for you, but I recommend Dental Arts of Somerville. They're basically on top of Davis Square, they really helped me out when I showed up in a bad dental state, and they've been very kind to Spatch in his current dental misery.
