iPod sentience, part 571

I finished playing Boiled in Lead's cover of the disco charmer "Rasputin". Then the randomizer picked "Two More Sips", a bit by Patton Oswalt about getting his drink refilled and hinting at a drunken upskirt photo moment. I get the sense that some of you may either not like Mr Oswalt or the situation described, but I needed to mention it so that the MP3 player's next track choice would be meaningful.

Peter Gabriel - "I Don't Remember" came up next. Yes, I suspect my iPod is listening.

I've named the new one Seeburg, based on the old brand of juke boxes. It's so much bigger than my last one: 160 GB unformatted (150 GB of actual space) versus 30 GB (27 GB actual space). It turned out I was swapping out about a quarter of the music on my iTunes setup to keep the old one from being full. Now I've started ripping things again.

I wonder what other pieces of pseudo-intelligence will arise as I fill up its tank.
