Fever equals sci fi story

I was feeling sick this afternoon at work. My the time I got home, it was taking effort to get out of the car. I went to bed for three hours and proceeded to have this semi-lucid dream. It's going to take all the energy I have to tell this story but I think it needs composing. ( The Tape. )

This is a fresh dream, so I'm still processing it. However, I think there is enough to gather up a short story. Then again, I have a fever. I don't know whether it makes any sense. Please let me know.
