About the cereal yesterday...
Aug. 27th, 2003 11:40 amOh yeah, it was the milk. Totally the damn milk. It wasn't blindingly stinky so I'd dismissed it. Occam's razor slices again!
Not much else to report. Work was... long. Decent, but long. One more day of it before my mini-vacation.
I cleaned a little last night. Sorting all this crap seems daunting until I stand back after doing some and see a significant difference. I can now close one of the closet doors in the office. Whenever I've cleaned a room enough that I can slide an accordion door closed on a closet, I get pumped.
chaggalagirl was floating names for the apartment last night. She liked "Casa Blanca" because all the walls are so damn white. I liked the idea of "Casa Mezza Blanca" because the siding is all sorts of faded off-whites. I asked her the Spanish word for 'half' and she just rolled her eyes at me.
Talk about evil: I was surfing channels last night. VH1 Classic was playing two videos in a row by the same artist. They played a set from that bastion of 80s pop, The Outfield. They didn't play their bit honkin' hit, but they played enough that I still can't get it out of my skull. I now need to find something equally jangley and catchy but without the shrieked vocals.
-have twangy guitar, will travel, Dante
