Things to try...
Mar. 16th, 2004 03:38 amMaggie says I should figure out how to get into either the marketing department or advanced products for my company. This came from a half hour of me conceiving paths for the latest stuff we're rolling out and how to make sure that will work for any level of subscriber. "You really do think a lot about this stuff, probably more than your boss's boss." Maybe I do. I like cable -- it's two-way and you can shove everything short of meat into it. Rail all you want against the prices -- the shit works, dude, and it's more consistent than the twisted-pair copper the Toddler Bells think is so great.
I watched the first disc of An Evening with Kevin Smith this evening. It's neat to hear how fubar Hollywood producers can be. It also makes me think I should do something loony on a grand scale so that I could tour the country lecturing about it. I suppose this means I seek experiences only so I talk about them later.
Night, folks. My birthday is on Friday. I'm trying to get as many folks as possible to see my friend Anthony's band Sad Marvin on Friday night. I'd better ask him where they're playing, since I can't find the gig online. I suspect it'll be in Somerville somewhere. They'll also be playing Battle of the Bands in a few weeks.
