I haven't driven as far as I had hoped. I'm still in the Eastern time zone and i need to drive 487 miles today. This is doable before sunset. I have to relax into this.

I still have office work to do before Monday. Friday was a nightmare at work. Ugh.

I learned a couple things so far:

If you're Canadian, you can still buy gas at an American pump that asks for a ZIP code. I learned this from handwritten signs along the Thruway.

You take only the numbers from your postal code, then add two zeroes in front. Thus CBC Toronto's M5W 1E6 becomes 00516; Santa Claus (H0H 0H0) becomes 00000.
Wegman's has one of the most amazing selections of obscure beers. I will miss Wegman's, but I'm glad I stopped at one;
The White Castle where I-271 meets I-480 in suburban Cleveland is open 24 hours.
I picked up my first AM station from the other side of the Mississippi: KMOX Saint Louis 1120. This started just west of Cleveland and it let me listen to an old episode of the Great Guildersleeve.

I have a baseball question (yes, I'm getting back into following baseball thanks to my fiancee). Since the Commissioner is also the owner of the Brewers and the Brewers are at the top of the NL Central (and #3 in their league, behind the Phillies and the Braves), does this mean he should step down or sell his franchise should they get a playoff spot? This wasn't a concern when they were perpetually in the basement, right? Perhaps he's been pulling a Producers the whole time but now that he has some thought to put the Dodgers in receivership, it'll show him up.
