pseydtonne: Behold the Operator, speaking into a 1930s headset with its large mouthpiece. (Default)
Right now it's 5:30 ante-meridien (am). That means the Sun won't be overhead in... well, Herkimer NY (where 75 degrees West Longitude is; same as Cpae May NJ) for another 6 and a half hours. It's still dark out. Much of me is already awake. How?

I'm awake enough that I geeked up some Longitude answers.

I must be excited about going to work. I love the new job. I went through some paperwork and then got handed a P4 3.0 GHz with a whopping 2 GB of RAM and free reign to wipe the drive and set up WinXP Pro. Did I mention I get to wipe a different machine for [livejournal.com profile] moominmolly and set up a clean slate of Solaris on that? I think that's a Sun Blade 100 (Sparc IIe 500 MHz, built-in Firewire) but more when that happens.

I'm so damn excited that my body is waking me up at ungodly hours! Since I'm a heathen, ungodly hours should be good for me.

I have an infinitely cool job! They like me, too! Halflifing P3s fall out around my desk like hopheads in an opium den. How couldn't I be happy?
