Am I obliged to submit to meme-waves just because I'm a Journalier? (Giornoliere?)

There are a couple of listy-things going around right now. One of these I could fill out, but right now I can't concentrate long enough to finish. I don't have the explicit rules to the other one, but it's funnier: I think you gather sentences from advertisements or random passages and insert your name in place of the subject. I suspect there may be more to it, like how long you have to gather lines or how you find them. If any of you fine folks could fill me in, I'd be in your debt.
