Peer pressure is like brotherly love

So I got a call from a non-LJ friend (let's call her Gigi) last night. She pressured me into going to my 10th Anniversary college reunion in a couple weekends. I had assumed it was next weekend, during which I will be attending dietrich and [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]'s wedding on Cape Cawd. There will be a WHRW 40th Anniversary dinner with all the old DJs getting together.

Well yeah, I wanna see 'em all. I'm also worried law suits will break out during the event. I'm usually a tee-totaller but I'm thinking of bringing a flask in case crap flies. It's gonna be like high school without the restraints.

The actual reunion? Hmmm... I'm not certain it'll matter. I can say "yeah, got a really cool job and I'm not shiftless. You?" However, who wants to hear that? The people that want to hear this usually aren't the people I want to hang out with. Then again, I may be too picky.

Two reasons: first off, I just want to be able to get ahold of you, since I never see you on AIM anymore. Second off, I was hoping you might know something or other about setting up Linare for wireless internet. (I can't exactly run an ethernet cord through most of the upstairs, now can I? Especially when the damn box has a wireless card in it... I just don't know how to set that up in Linux.)

One of (spouse)'s suitemates has been pushing her to go, also. I told her that I'd consider it if you were planning on going. We should at least think about it. We could form a posse comitatus and fend off all tha hataz. (What weekend is it, exactly?)
